Artículo Completo 444 palabras
Nic Bodiford takes a look at four high-profile kickers whose fantasy stocks could surge to the top of the position in 2026, including the Lions' Jake Bates.
Dallas Cowboys kicker Brandon Aubrey: Aubrey possesses the NFL’s strongest leg.

Most fantasy football scoring formats award one point for successful extra points, three points for successful 0-to-39-yard field goals, four points for successful 40-to-49-yard field goals and five points for successful 50-plus-yard field goals. High-end K1s generally play for NFL teams possessing top-tier offenses while also possessing elite workloads. They frequently kick voluminously from challenging field depths, though chip-shot opportunities are helpful.

The article below breaks down four contenders for the overall K1 finish.

Aubrey's, Bates', Myers' and Dicker's 2025 data

Regular-Season Metric Brandon Aubrey Jake Bates Jason Myers Cameron Dicker Weeks 1-17 Total Fantasy Points 182.6 (K2) 138.0 (K10) 194.0 (K1) 167.0 (K4) Weeks 1-17 Fantasy Points Per Game 11.4 8.6 12.1 10.4 K1 Season Streak 3 2 1 3 PFF Reg.-Season Kicking Grade 94.0 85.1 90.4 91.0 XPM/XPA 47/48 54/56 48/48 34/35 FGM/FGA 36/42 41/48 27/34 38/41 XP & XP Total Attempts 90 90 96 76 FG 0-to-29 Yards M/A 10 6 6 7 FG 30-to-39 Yards M/A 5 8 15 15 FG 40-to-49 Yards M/A 10 11 15 13 FG 50-Plus Yards M/A 17 9 12 6 Team Full Season Success Rate 50.6% 48.5% 48.0% 47.5% Team Full Season EPA per Play 0.094 0.063 0.019 -0.029

Aubrey ranks and/or ties for first among NFL kickers in the 2025 regular season in 0-to-29-yard and 50-plus-yard field goal attempts. Myers and Dicker rank second and third, respectively, in 40-to-49-yard field goal attempts while tying for first in 30-to-39-yard field goal attempts.

Myers ties for first in total field goal attempts. Aubrey ranks third, while Dicker slots fourth.

Similarly, Bates ranks first in extra point attempts. Aubrey and Myers tie for fifth. Meanwhile, Myers ranks first in combined extra point and field goal attempts, while Bates and Aubrey tie for second.

Enclosed domes helpfully protect Aubrey and Bates’ home fields. Dicker’s home field, located in sunny southern California, has a retractable roof. All three benefit strongly from controlled environments.

Aubrey’s seasonal reliability is well established. The 31-year-old possesses perhaps the NFL’s strongest leg, and Dallas’ front office made him the highest-paid kicker in league history this offseason. Dallas’ offense is exceptionally efficient and explosive while also annually contending for the league lead in play volume, yielding high-end kicking volume.

Detroit’s smartly schemed, elite offense should regularly bring Bates into field goal range while potentially guiding him to the league’s highest sum of extra point attempts.

Myers’ excellent accuracy, coupled with head coach Mike Macdonald’s field goal affinity, should keep him in overall K1 contention.

Dicker is a top-tier kicker who will benefit from the Chargers’ expectedly fantasy-friendly offensive schematic upgrades.
