- Parker Washington will look to build on his big game: Washington caught six passes for 145 yards and a touchdown in Week 16. He faces the Indianapolis Colts in Week 17 and could be one of several Jaguars wide receivers to have a big week.

Ideally, fantasy managers will not need a new quarterback for fantasy championship weekend. J.J. McCarthy and Marcus Mariota were the two quarterbacks available on the waiver wire who have found some fantasy success and had great matchups in Week 17, but both suffered injuries and play on Thursday, giving them little time to recover.
Other quarterbacks who played well this week and are generally available include Cam Ward, Bryce Young, Aaron Rodgers and Sam Darnold, but all four face defenses in the top 10 in preventing fantasy points to quarterbacks this week. The only passers available with excellent matchups are either completely unproven, such as Max Brosmer or Quinn Ewers, or low-upside options in their mid-to-late 30s, such as Geno Smith or Josh Johnson.
This leaves one quarterback as the clear top option: the Saints’ Tyler Shough. The rookie has scored at least 17 fantasy points in each of his past four games, despite losing most of his wide receivers, outside of Chris Olave, and most of his running backs over the past two months. Shough faces the Tennessee Titans this week, and they have allowed the seventh-most fantasy points to quarterbacks this season.
Shough is unlikely to rank among the top 12 quarterbacks heading into Week 17, but he is the best waiver-wire option for anyone dealing with an injury or two at quarterback.
