The NFL regular season has concluded, although some of the 2025 rookie class will continue to work toward bigger things in the postseason. As always, we continue to track their progress, PFF grades and principal opponents.
Pick No. 1: Tennessee Titans: QB Cam Ward
- Overall Rookie Grade: 58.5 (Rank: 3/6)
- Principal Opponent: N/A
- Week 18 Snaps: 5
- Week 18 Grade: 79.3
Ward got off to a hot start in Week 18, leading the Titans to an opening-drive touchdown drive that gave them some hope in competing with the first-place Jacksonville Jaguars. Unfortunately, he injured his right shoulder on his touchdown run that capped the drive and did not return.
It’s a bitter end to a tough rookie season that saw Ward earn a subpar 56.1 PFF passing grade. Tennessee’s primary goal this offseason should be to hire the right coach to optimize Ward’s skill set and improve his supporting cast.

Open Ward's ProfilePick No. 2: Jacksonville Jaguars: WR/CB Travis Hunter
- Overall Rookie Grade (Offense): 62.2 (Rank: 8/12)
- Principal Opponent (Offense): N/A
- Week 18 Offense Snaps: 0
- Week 18 Offense Grade: N/A
- Overall Rookie Grade (Defense): 73.2 (Rank: X/X)
- Principal Opponent (Defense): N/A
- Week 18 Defense Snaps: 0
- Week 18 Defense Grade: N/A
Hunter’s foray into two-way stardom was put on hold when he suffered a season-ending knee injury in practice before Week 8. In just seven appearances, Hunter played 323 snaps on offense and 162 snaps on defense. He graded out as a cornerback, forcing three incompletions across just 15 targets in his direction. Hunter’s role next season will be an interesting area of focus, given the Jaguars' mid-season acquisition of productive wide receiver Jakobi Meyers.
