Offensive Player of the Week: Tristan Wirfs, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Offensive Player of the Week honors rarely go to offensive linemen, but Tristan Wirfs’ Week 15 performance was more than worthy of the distinction. Wirfs finished the week with a 97.0 PFF overall grade — the highest mark among all offensive players this week and the fourth-highest single-game grade of the season.
He was dominant in pass protection, allowing zero sacks, hits or hurries across 40 pass-blocking snaps while losing just one rep that didn’t result in pressure, earning an 89.9 pass-blocking grade. He was even better in the run game, posting a 98.0 run-blocking grade after avoiding a single downgrade on 22 snaps while grading positively nine times.
Defensive Player of the Week: D'Marco Jackson, Chicago Bears
Linebacker DeMarco Jackson turned in the best performance of his career in Week 15, earning a 93.5 overall PFF grade that ranked second among all defensive players. He posted strong marks across the board, including an 84.1 run-defense grade, an 81.9 tackling grade, a 70.5 pass-rushing grade and a 91.2 coverage grade.
Jackson made the most of his opportunities, recording a sack on one of his two pass-rush snaps, finishing a perfect 7-for-7 on tackle attempts with five defensive stops and allowing just two receptions for three yards on five targets in coverage. He capped the performance with one of the plays of the week, tipping the ball to himself before securing an interception of Shedeur Sanders.
Rookie of the Week: EDGE Abdul Carter, New York Giants
Despite the Giants’ loss, Abdul Carter delivered the best performance of his young career against Washington on Sunday. He was impactful as both a run defender and pass rusher, recording five defensive stops, forcing two fumbles and posting a 17.4% PFF pass-rush win rate.
Offensive Line of the Week: Tennessee Titans
The Titans stayed competitive against the 49ers largely thanks to strong play up front. Their offensive line allowed just five total pressures on Cam Ward — none for sacks or hits — while also fueling a rushing attack that averaged 6.8 yards per carry.
